Your Financial Support is Vital!

To beat back the ADA's misguided proposals will take a well-orchestrated, professional lobbying campaign that mobilizes a coalition of concerned professionals.  Doing that well takes money.

Your very ability to practice dentistry as you know it is at stake.  You can't respond passively to this threat.

We have every reason to believe that special interest groups within the dental profession are willing to spend heavily to make sure that these new ADA guidelines are passed as proposed.  These special interests have previously shown their willingness to spend upwards of $1 million to influence the ADA decision-making process.

Since we have "right" on our side, we won't need to match them dollar for dollar.  But we will require an ample war chest to be victorious.

We need at least 1,500 dentists to pledge their financial support.  We realize that not everyone can commit to the $5,000 level (or even the $1,000) level.  But we do ask that you be as generous as possible.  Ask yourself what it will cost you financially if sedation dentistry is banned.

Should you request, you can fulfill your pledge over a period of months (three installments or five installments).  Just indicate you wish to do so on the attached form. TEAM 1500 Support Form

You can download pledge forms here or email dean@team1500.org and ask that he contact you directly for your support.  TEAM 1500 Support Form

The money you spend now will mean that sedation dentistry remains a viable option for dentists such as you for years to come.

(TEAM 1500 is a non-proft organization, but not recognized as a 'charity' by the IRS.  You should check with your tax advisor as to whether or not your support can be deducted as a business expense.)
